I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Statistics and Data Science in the Division of Computing and Mathematical Sciences at MBZUAI.
My research interests are in stochastic optimization for machine learning, including distributed and federated training, derivative-free methods, variational inequalities, robustness, privacy, and high-probability guarantees.
Before my faculty appointment, I held Research Scientist and Postdoctoral Fellow positions at MBZUAI, and I obtained my PhD at MIPT under the supervision of Alexander Gasnikov and Peter Richtárik.
