What to include

When writing to me, please keep the message specific and include the following information.

Subject lineUse a clear title such as "PhD application - Applicant Name" or "MSc inquiry - Applicant Name".
MotivationExplain the research motivation and how it connects to my research directions.
BackgroundSummarize relevant experience in optimization, machine learning, mathematics, or adjacent areas.
DocumentsAttach a CV and, for student applicants, an academic transcript.
Research alignmentBriefly mention relevant papers from the publication list and how they connect to the proposed research direction.
